In this explosive interview, Sahil speaks with Stand Tall Israel about leaving Islam, the Quran and Hadith, jihad and Sharia law, Hamas and October 7, Islamic attitudes toward Jews and Israel, Jerusalem and Al-Aqsa, and the threats he says followed his decision to publicly challenge Islamic theology. Raised Muslim in Mumbai, Sahil became involved in Tablighi Jamaat and dawah, actively trying to convince non-Muslims to accept Islam. But as he studied and debated more seriously, questions began piling up. During the COVID lockdown, he decided he could no longer remain Muslim. He then began speaking publicly while hiding his identity. His audience grew from only dozens of livestream viewers to thousands — including one stream he says reached approximately 27,000 concurrent viewers. Eventually, a former associate recognized his voice. Sahil says his identity and home address were leaked, he was threatened, and the danger became serious enough that he had to leave his home and relocate. His main YouTube channel has approximately 595,000 subscribers and, according to Sahil, has been banned in India for four years.
