The LAST Time Mosab Disappeared, He Had Just Issued This Warning...

Mosab Hassan Yousef is gone from X again. But this is not the first time his account has disappeared. The last time it happened, Mosab had recently issued a stark warning about the dramatic changes taking place in Syria following the fall of Bashar al-Assad. As Ahmed al-Sharaa — formerly known as Abu Mohammed al-Jolani — began presenting a very different image to the world, Mosab was deeply skeptical. His warning was blunt: “A new Islamic Empire is born. Don’t feed it. Starve it.” Mosab argued that the greatest danger was not necessarily an immediate terrorist attack, but something far more sophisticated: a jihadist movement changing its image, language and political strategy in order to gain legitimacy, international recognition and trust. And then, around that same period, his X account disappeared. There is no public evidence proving that Mosab’s warning caused his account to be suspended or removed, and we are not claiming that it did. But the timing raised questions then — and now that his account has disappeared again, those questions are worth revisiting. Mosab Hassan Yousef spent years inside Hamas and worked closely enough with terrorist organizations to understand how these movements operate from the inside.
