Insights into the Weekly Haftorah - Terumah

The Haftorah comes from the Book of I Kings and tells the story of King Solomon and his building the First Temple in Jerusalem. We discuss different elements regarding the Temple and the way that it was constructed over a period of 7 years. (Although our discussion about this week's Haftorah comes from the book of I Kings and relates to the Torah portion of Terumah, because it is also parshat Shekalim, one of four special readings at this time of the year, that is the Haftorah that we read. It is found in II Kings 11:17 - 12:17.)
