We will examine the metaphysical transformation of rain, which begins as "light" (Or) in its supernal source, as referenced in the Book of Job. When the Torah refers to "your rain," it suggests that through the "toil of Torah" (Amaleinu ba-Torah), we actually create a vessel for this light to descend and become physical. The Shiur will discuss how our actions don't just "earn" a reward, but literally "form" the rain, turning a spiritual potential into a personal, physical reality that is uniquely designated for our sustenance.
