If you have been inspired by this video please share it with your friends. Thank you. This class is based on Likutey Moharan Lesson 2, Part 2: Rebbe Nachman teaches that thanksgiving and learning Halachah lead to truth in prayer, Torah study and marriage, which in turn rectifies four forms of speech: charity, teshuvah, influential speech and Malchut. The four species of Sukkot correspond to these four forms: the lulav represents charity, the aravot teshuvah, the hadassim influential speech and the etrog the kingship of Hashem and Moshiach. This progression prepares a person to speak to Hashem with greater sincerity and draw the holiness and joy of Shabbat into everyday life. On Sukkot, we express this through Hallel followed immediately by Hoshanot: first we praise and thank Hashem for His kindness, then we cry out to Him for salvation. The lesson is to make thanksgiving the foundation of our prayers, allowing us to face difficulties with greater clarity and a deeper connection to Hashem.
