What Is the Yom Kippur Atmosphere? | Ask the Rabbi Live with Rabbi Chaim Mintz

Yom Kippur, despite being a solemn day on which one regrets his sins, is nevertheless a holiday and a very joyous day, for God is there to forgive us. Thus, one should dress in clothing befitting a holiday. Nonetheless, it should be more subdued than the attire worn on a regular Shabbos or Yom Tov, reflecting the somewhat solemn atmosphere of the day. Join us every Tuesday night at 8:30PM, as Oorah's founder, Rabbi Chaim Mintz, delivers a weekly Torah class. Watch it at: https://www.oorah.org/ask-the-rabbi "Ask the Rabbi" begins at 9PM.
