Accept the JUDGEMENT

Shalom Aleichem Chevra! What's up everyone? Did you know we're judged every single night when our souls go up to heaven? Tonight we dive deep into the concept of din, judgment, exploring how we face judgment nightly, on Shabbos, and ultimately after our lifetimes. We learn from Pirkei Avos about the three things that keep us from sin: an eye that sees, an ear that hears, and all our deeds written in a book. Just like when we first heard our voices on tape recorders or saw ourselves on video, we realize everything is being recorded. But here's the beautiful twist: this isn't Big Brother watching us, it's Hashem showing His love and interest in each of us. We then explore Mishna number eight about how to be a proper judge, learning that judges can't be lawyers, must remain impartial, can't take bribes, and must view litigants with suspicion before judgment but as innocent after they accept the ruling. We also discuss how judges must carefully question witnesses without leading them to false testimony. The key insight is that when people accept Torah judgment, they're essentially accepting God's will, which purifies them. If this resonated with you, give it a thumbs up and share it
