This week, Shomrim members remained on high alert, working side by side with the NYPD to help keep our community safe. 𝐉𝐮𝐧𝐞 𝟏𝟎 – 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐒𝐢𝐭𝐞 𝐁𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐤-𝐈𝐧 At approximately 1:30 AM, a Shomrim member on patrol witnessed a suspect jumping over the gate of a construction site. Members quickly responded and surrounded the area while awaiting the NYPD. Once officers arrived, the suspect was taken into custody. 𝐉𝐮𝐧𝐞 𝟏𝟏 – 𝐂𝐚𝐫 𝐇𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐥𝐞 𝐏𝐮𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐫 𝐀𝐫𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐝 In the early morning hours, Shomrim received reports of an individual going around pulling car handles and attempting to gain entry into parked vehicles. Members responded immediately, and with the assistance of the NYPD, the suspect was taken into custody. 𝐆𝐲𝐩𝐬𝐲 𝐑𝐨𝐛𝐛𝐞𝐫𝐲 𝐒𝐮𝐬𝐩𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐬 𝐀𝐫𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐝 Shomrim received an alert that a vehicle wanted in connection with a series of jewelry distraction thefts had entered Boro Park. Members kept a close watch on the vehicle and witnessed a robbery unfold in real time. Shomrim continued tracking the suspects until the NYPD moved in and arrested all three individuals involved.
