🚨Righteous Goyim and how to become one

Shalom Aleichem Chevra, welcome back! What does it actually take to be a righteous person among the nations — and did you know there's way more than just seven Noahide laws? In this shiur we dig deep into the Seven Mitzvot of Bnei Noach — the commandments given to all of humanity going all the way back to Adam HaRishon. We go through each one: setting up just courts (Dinim), not blaspheming Hashem's name, no idol worship (Avodah Zarah), marital sanctity, no murder, no stealing (Gezel), and the prohibition against tearing a limb from a living animal (Ever Min HaChai). But here's the thing — we also learn from the Gemara that it doesn't stop at seven. There are additional prohibitions including eating blood, forbidden mixtures (Kilayim), and the entire Torah portion on witchcraft in Devarim 18, which is off-limits for everyone, not just Jews. We also learn a key principle from the Rambam: any mitzvah that basic human logic tells you to do — like giving tzedakah or honoring your parents — is also included in the framework of the Noahide laws.
