Insights into the Weekly Haftorah - Tzav and Shabbat Hagadol

We discuss it briefly but because this Shabbat is a special one, called Shabbat Hagadol, the Shabbat before the holiday of Pesach, we read a special Haftarah from the book of Malachi. At the end of this prophecy, Malachi states that Elijah the prophet will return before the great and awesome day of the final redemption, which we pray for and anticipate every year before Pesach.
