The focus of this class is the rebellion led by King David's son, Avshalom. In the end, the rebellion failed and Avshalom is killed. Despite his son's rebelliousness, David did everything in his power to save him with the hope of reconciling with him. Of the many subjects explored was the dynamic of a "measure for measure" and how it played out in this story.
