In Parshas Naso, the Torah discusses the Sotah, a wife suspected of becoming distant from her husband. The Rebbe reveals that this isn't merely a law about marriage—it's also a metaphor for the relationship between every Jew and Hashem. Can a Jew ever truly become separated from Hashem? The Rebbe explains that because Hashem is everywhere, real separation is impossible. What creates the feeling of distance is ego and self-importance. When a person humbles themselves and reconnects to their true essence, they discover that the bond was never broken in the first place.
