The Unique Impact Only You Can Have

Shalom Aleichem Chevra, coming to you live from the palace of the king! What if the Torah is literally calling YOU out by name — and the blessing or the curse depends entirely on whether you show up? This week we dive into Parshas Ki Tavo and one of the most powerful pesukim in the entire parsha: 'Cursed is the person who does not stand up the Torah.' We unpack what that actually means — the Torah is like something that can fall, and we each have an obligation to lift it back up. And flipped around, the Gra tells us that blessed is the one who stands it up. That blessing isn't small. It was declared by all twelve tribes, the Kohanim, the Leviim, and the entire nation of 600,000 men, with the Aron HaBris standing right there. That is mega blessing coming your way. We're learning from a sefer called Kol HaTor, written by the Vilna Gaon himself — and Chevra, this is the revolution. Every single Jew needs to know this sefer exists. In it, the Gaon lays out four essays making the case that every one of us is obligated to be involved in Kiruv, in bringing Jews back home. The Ramban adds to this — even a tzaddik who stays in his dalet amos and doesn't go out to help his people is included in the curse of not standing up the Torah. That's a serious cheshbon. Then the Gaon says something beautiful. Hashem gave each of us a unique light, a unique chein, a unique language. Maybe you grew up in the streets of Manhattan, maybe you're the best hacky sack player in the Jewish nation, maybe you've got a skateboard and a passport. Whatever Hashem graced you with — that is your tool. Use it. Go find your people. Yoshi Hamelech saw Sefer Devarim open to this exact curse and said, 'It's upon me.' That's the attitude. Not waiting for someone else. It's upon me, it's upon each of us, to stand up the Torah wherever we are. If this shiur spoke to you, share it with someone who needs to hear it — and subscribe so you never miss the Chevra. ---------------------------------------------------------- 🔹Join Rabbi Moshe Chaim's Exclusive Content Sign up here 👉 https://www.youtube.com/@ChevraRavMosheChaim/join 🔹Join Rabbi Moshe Chaim's Private Chizzuk Group Sign up here 👉 https://subscribepage.io/join-the-chevra 🔹Visit the Website 👉 https://www.ravmoshechaim.com/ 🔹Newsletter 👉 https://ravmoshechaimchevra.substack.com/ 🔹Discover Beautiful Sacred Art 👉 https://bit.ly/chevra-art 🔹Join us in Yeshiva - in Jerusalem!
