Exposing the Lies of this World

Shalom Aleichem Chevra, so glad you're here with us! What if everything that looks real, organized, and beautiful in this world is actually one giant impostor — and you've been living inside it without knowing? In this shiur we dive deep into the Rebbe Nachman story of the Lost Princess and unpack one of the most powerful ideas in all of Torah: the world we live in is dressed up like a real kingdom — guards, a crown, the whole setup — but there's an impostor king sitting on that throne. We talk about what the Psukim teach us about she and hevel, falsehood versus emptiness, and how Hashem built a world where the false stuff actually looks gorgeous and pulls us in. Netflix, modern art, duct-taped bananas selling for 6.2 million dollars — it's all bread and circuses, and we feel that pull because that's exactly how this world was designed. We go into the palace from the Lost Princess story and explore why the Yiddish word schloss — locked — is so perfectly chosen. Most of us stay outside the palace, watching the world from the outside like it's a movie. But the Vasel, the Lost Princess, is in there, locked deep inside. And here's the thing: she's the source, the Basel. Every bit of power the forces of falsehood have comes only from holding her captive. The moment we extract her, all of it dissolves like smoke — automatically. We also talk honestly about navigating this as real people, including within our own religious communities. There's such a thing as bread and circuses for religious people too. The giants in Rebbe Nachman's story — big people, respected people — are the ones who will tell you to stop chasing fairy tales and just keep your face in the book. Don't listen. Know she exists. As Yom Kippur approaches, this is exactly the season where we cut through all of it — no eating, no drinking, just you and the princess, face to face. We're on this journey together, Chevra, and we're going to find her. If this resonated with you, share it with someone who needs to hear it — and subscribe so you never miss a shiur. ---------------------------------------------------------- 🔹Join Rabbi Moshe Chaim's Exclusive Content Sign up here 👉 https://www.youtube.com/@ChevraRavMosheChaim/join 🔹Join Rabbi Moshe Chaim's Private Chizzuk Group Sign up here 👉 https://subscribepage.io/join-the-chevra 🔹Visit the Website 👉 https://www.ravmoshechaim.com/ 🔹Newsletter 👉 https://ravmoshechaimchevra.substack.com/ 🔹Discover Beautiful Sacred Art 👉 https://bit.ly/chevra-art 🔹Join us in Yeshiva - in Jerusalem!
