The night opens with a Kumzits and words of inspiration (Divrei Hisorerus) from Rabbi Yaacov Haber, featuring the heartfelt music of Dovid Lowy and Ari Goldwag. Selichos is our preparation for the Yamim Noraim, a time to awaken the heart through prayer and song. The Minhag Yisrael is to rise in the early hours of the night to seek Hashem’s mercy.
